11am Saturday 28 October 2017
Presentations 11.30am-12.30pm followed by lunch and music
Venue: Quaker Meeting House, Upper Goat Lane NR2 1EW Bring a dish to share
Come and hear about our campaign and how you can help. We will also be celebrating our successful Big Lottery bid and talking about our plans for the fabulous site at Valpy Avenue.
As well as presentations from the core team, we'll be previewing a campaign video created by Matt Robinson and showing off our new website designed by George Payne. There will be music performed by Jaki Alden, and of course, in traditional Farmshare style, we'll be sharing delicious food together.
What we're crowdfunding for...
A £10,000 grant from the Big Lottery Fund has enabled the group to begin setting up on the Valpy Avenue site. The crowdfunder aims to raise further funds to buy a van and to set up infrastructure on the site - including a compost loo, a volunteer shelter and a pizza oven for social events.
Our crowdfunding campaign will go live on 4 November 2017 at: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/norwich-farmshare-1
As well as growing delicious veg, we'll be focusing our educational and community engagement work on the plot at Valpy Avenue. We also have plans to develop additional growing capacity and opportunities for organic horticultural training on our beautiful three-acre, south facing, second site at Whitlingham.
